Revision 1, effective August 2, 2026. This is a summary. The full Code is the operative document and is published at pghlpw.com/policies. By checking the box you agree to the full Code, not only this summary.
The Code applies to contestants, titleholders, judges, staff, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors. It applies to your conduct whether or not it happened at a PLP event.
Reports must be in writing, and the person a report concerns will see it. Matters are decided by the PLP Board. PLP may act on what it learns on its own, without a complaint, and does not need a criminal charge or conviction to act. Decisions are final, there is no appeal, and PLP is not required to explain its reasoning.
PLP may revise this Code at any time. The current revision is always published at pghlpw.com/policies, and continuing to participate after a change takes effect means you accept it.
By submitting an application to compete in a Pittsburgh Leather PRIDE LLC ("PLP LLC") title contest, you agree to the following terms.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance as a contestant. An application is considered only when it is complete: the application form, headshot photo, government-issued ID, signed Photographic and Image Release Waiver, and digital agreement to the Code of Conduct, the Contestant Indemnification, and these Terms and Conditions.
Applications are reviewed by PLP LLC. You will receive an acceptance or denial decision by email within 14 days of applying. Each contest is limited to a maximum of five contestants, so a complete and eligible application may still be declined once a contest is full.
Acceptance decisions are made at the sole discretion of PLP LLC and the Contest Producer and are final. There is no appeals process.
There is currently no application fee. This may change in the future.
Materials you submit (your application, headshot, government-issued ID, and signed waiver) are maintained securely and internally by PLP LLC and used for application review, age and identity verification, contest administration, and indemnification purposes. Your government-issued ID is never published. If you are accepted, your headshot and application biography may appear on your public contestant profile and in print materials, as stated on the application form.
To request removal of your details from PLP LLC's records, contact PLP LLC directly. Removal requires signing additional releases in exchange for the removal of the data we maintain.
To withdraw your application or your place as a contestant, you must submit a written request to the Executive Producers of Steel City Fetish Con and Pittsburgh Leather PRIDE at least 14 days prior to the date of Pittsburgh Leather PRIDE Weekend, which commences on the date of the Meet & Greet event. Materials you submitted are maintained in the same manner as all other applicant materials unless a formal request to destroy those materials is received, as outlined in Section 5.
The PLP LLC Code of Conduct, the Contestant Indemnification, and the Photographic and Image Release Waiver are part of these terms. Violation of the Code of Conduct is grounds for disqualification as described in that document.
PLP LLC may update these terms. The version you agree to at submission applies to your application; accepted contestants will be notified of any material changes.
PLP LLC may terminate your place as a contestant at any time, for reasons including, but not limited to, a violation of the Code of Conduct, non-payment of any fee that may apply, or false or materially misleading information in your application. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive; PLP LLC retains the discretion described in Section 3.
If Steel City Fetish Con is cancelled or significantly rescheduled for reasons beyond PLP LLC's control, including but not limited to weather, venue loss, or public health or safety concerns, fees already paid (if any apply at the time) are not refundable in cash. Instead, PLP LLC will honor those fees as a credit toward the rescheduled date, if the event is postponed, or toward the following year's event, if it is cancelled outright.
If a disagreement arises under these terms that cannot be resolved through direct conversation, you and PLP LLC agree to first make a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter informally before pursuing any other remedy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and each party consents to that venue.
